Glasto Quick Copy

Privacy and cookies policy

This policy explains what happens to your information on this site, including the Glasto Quick Copy tool. We've written it to be read, not skimmed past.

Who we are

Glasto Quick Copy is an independent, free project run by an individual in the United Kingdom. You can reach us through the options on our contact page.

The tool: your group's details stay on your device

The names, registration numbers and postcodes you add to the tool are saved only in your browser's storage on your device. The tool has no accounts and no database, and its own code never sends your group's details to us or anyone else.

This site, including the tool's pages, shows Google ads. Google's ad code runs in your browser on these pages, as it does on any site with Google ads. It's Google's standard ad code and nothing else; we don't add other trackers or analytics.

If you create a share link, the first names, registration numbers and postcodes are packed into the part of the link after the # symbol, which browsers don't send to web servers. Anyone you send the link to can read those details.

The rest of this site

We don't ask you for any personal information on this site, and there are no accounts or forms.

Hosting

This site is hosted by Netlify. Like any web host, Netlify processes technical information such as your IP address and browser details to deliver pages and protect the service. See Netlify's privacy policy.

Advertising

This site uses Google AdSense to show ads. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the internet.

You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalised advertising at www.aboutads.info or, in the UK and Europe, www.youronlinechoices.eu.

Learn more about how Google uses information from sites that use its services and about Google's advertising technologies.

Your consent

If you visit from the UK, the European Economic Area or Switzerland, a consent message from Google lets you choose whether to accept cookies for personalised ads before they're used. If you decline, Google may still show non-personalised ads, which use cookies for things like frequency capping and fraud prevention. You can change your choice at any time using the privacy and cookie settings link the message provides.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have rights to access, correct and delete your personal data and to object to its use. Because we don't collect personal data ourselves, most requests will be about Google's advertising, which you can manage through the links above. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.

Children

This site is not aimed at children under 13 and we don't knowingly collect their information.
