Guides Glastonbury 2027: where things stand
How fast Glastonbury tickets sell out: recent sales compared
Sell-out times, prices and deposits for the last three Glastonbury ticket sales and resales, and what the numbers mean for your group.
Every Glastonbury sale in recent years has sold out in under an hour. Looking at the last few side by side shows how quickly things move, how the price has changed, and why the minutes straight after you get through the queue matter so much.

Spring resales
The resale is much smaller than the main sale, because it only offers tickets that weren't paid for or were returned. It also tends to go faster: the 2024 general admission resale sold out in about 22 minutes and the 2025 one in about 19 minutes.
What the numbers tell us
The price is rising by about 7% a sale
From £355 to £378.50 is a rise of about 6.6%. From £378.50 to £408 is about 7.8%. The deposit went up by a third, from £75 to £100, so the lead booker for a group of six now needs £600 available on ticket day, up from £450.
The window is short and getting no longer
Somewhere between 20 and 60 minutes is all there is. For 2027, a buyer on the fan subreddit reported completing a purchase at 9.04am, the queue page showed over half the tickets gone by 9.26am, and See Tickets confirmed the sell-out at 9.42am. A booking that takes an extra three minutes because someone is hunting for a friend's number is a real cost.
The queue keeps changing
For 2027 the queue changed: buyers entered their registration details before joining, one registration meant one place, and progress was shown as rows of blocks turning green rather than a numbered position. Fans found the static blocks frustrating, and some reported "access restricted" messages. Expect the process to keep evolving and read the official instructions before every sale. See how the queue works.
What this means for your group
- Nothing you do changes your place in the queue. Preparation is about the minutes after it.
- In 2025 you had 10 minutes at the front to enter everyone's details and pay. Six registration numbers and postcodes fit comfortably in that if they're ready to paste, and not if they're buried in a chat.
- More people queueing gives more chances. Every member of your group with their own registration can try, as long as you've agreed who books whom.
- Budget for the deposit early, because it has gone up and could again.
