Glastonbury 2027 Sunday tickets: who can buy them and how

Who could buy a Glastonbury 2027 Sunday ticket, when the sale was, the price with the bus, children's bus seats, refunds and the rules for the day itself.

Glastonbury's Sunday ticket is the only one day ticket on the festival's information page, and it isn't on general sale: it's only for people who live in the Mendip and Central Somerset area. For 2027, Sunday tickets went on sale at 11am on Sunday 1 November 2026 on glastonbury.seetickets.com. They cost £145 per person, plus £11.25 postage and packing per order, and the price includes a bus to the festival and back from one of eight local towns. The ticket is for Sunday 27 June 2027 only. When we checked the festival's information page on the afternoon of 1 November 2026, it still listed the sale times and hadn't said how the sale went or whether any tickets were left.

This guide covers who qualified, what a booking costs, the bus, children, refunds and the day itself. Everything comes from the festival's information page, read again on 1 November 2026, and its 2027 Sunday ticket terms, read on 29 October 2026. If you don't live in the area, the Sunday ticket isn't a route for you: see other ways to get to Glastonbury instead.

Who qualifies

The festival says Sunday tickets are available exclusively to Mendip and Central Somerset residents. That's a wider area than the one for local full weekend tickets: the festival gives Bruton, Frome and Radstock as examples of towns outside the full weekend catchment whose residents can still buy Sunday tickets, because they may still be inconvenienced by the festival.

Everyone you book for must be a full time, permanent resident registered within the Mendip and Central Somerset area at the time you make the booking. The festival may ask for proof of address, such as a driving licence, for everyone in the booking. If you can't show that you and your party live in the area, your booking may be cancelled.

The festival pitches the Sunday ticket at local people who can't go for the whole event, or who didn't manage to buy a full weekend ticket.

The sale morning: Sunday 1 November 2026

Sunday tickets were the last part of a morning of sales for local residents, all on glastonbury.seetickets.com:

WhenWhat went on saleWho could book
9am on Sunday 1 November 2026Local full weekend ticketsResidents of the inner zone only
10am on Sunday 1 November 2026Local full weekend ticketsResidents of the inner and outer zones
11am on Sunday 1 November 2026Sunday ticketsMendip and Central Somerset residents

The local full weekend ticket is a different ticket, for a smaller list of towns and villages, with up to 4 per booking and the usual £100 deposit and £308 balance in April: see Glastonbury local resident tickets. When the next sales are, for everyone else as well as local residents, is in the next Glastonbury ticket sale.

Registration

Every person aged 13 or over who wants a Sunday ticket must have their own valid registration number, and each ticket shows the holder's registered photo. Registration closed on 25 September 2026 and was suspended before and during the local ticket sale, so anyone 13 or over who wasn't already registered couldn't be booked on 1 November. The festival says it will reopen later in the autumn.

How registration works, and what to do if you've lost your number, is in how to register for Glastonbury.

What a booking costs: worked examples

Using the 2027 prices: £145 per person aged 13 or over, £25 for each child aged 6 to 12, nothing for children under 6, and one £11.25 postage and packing charge per order.

BookingSunday ticketsChild bus ticketsTotal with postage
Two adults2, so £290None£301.25
Two adults, a 14 year old, a 9 year old and a 4 year old3, so £4351 (the 9 year old)£471.25
Six friends6, so £870None£881.25

In the family example, the 14 year old needs a Sunday ticket and a registration like an adult, the 9 year old is admitted free but needs a bus ticket, and the 4 year old needs nothing. Optional refund protection is extra, at £4.10 per ticket (see below).

Unlike the local full weekend sale, the Sunday ticket section doesn't mention a deposit or a balance payment.

The bus

A condition of buying a Sunday ticket is that you travel to the festival by bus only. The bus is included in the price and runs from these eight towns:

Morning pick-ups from each town are at 9am and 11am, and return buses leave the festival for each town at 10pm and 12.30am. Everyone in a booking must travel from and return to the same town at the same time.

Children and teenagers

For the full weekend age rules, see taking children to Glastonbury.

On the day

The packing list on the festival's information page says original ID documents, not photocopies, are needed for Sunday tickets, so bring yours on the day.

Refunds and cancelling

You can cancel a 2027 Sunday ticket up to 11.59pm on 7 May 2027. Each cancelled ticket has a £25 admin fee, which doesn't apply to child bus seats. After that deadline, Sunday tickets are non-refundable unless the whole festival is cancelled. The Sunday ticket terms say booking fees, postage and packing charges are non-refundable.

You can also buy optional TicketPlan Booking Refund Protection for £4.10 per ticket. It refunds the value of your Sunday ticket if you can't attend for one of the reasons set out in its terms, so read them before you buy. The festival suggests checking whether your ticket is already covered elsewhere. The general rules on refunds are in Glastonbury ticket refunds.

What we couldn't confirm

The festival doesn't say how many Sunday tickets were on sale, and when we checked on the afternoon of 1 November 2026 it hadn't said whether any were left. Its ticket dispatch section covers general admission and coach tickets and doesn't mention Sunday tickets separately, so we can't say when they'll be posted. The Sunday ticket section names example towns rather than listing every place in Mendip and Central Somerset. We'll update this guide if the festival publishes more.
