Guides Glastonbury 2027: where things stand

When is the next Glastonbury ticket sale?

The next Glastonbury ticket sales, what's been announced, when recent sales have happened, and the steps to take now so your group is ready.

For most people, the next chance to buy Glastonbury tickets is the 2027 spring resale, after the April balance window. After that comes the main sale for 2028. Neither date has been announced. The most recent sale was only for people who live near the festival: local full weekend and Sunday tickets went on sale on Sunday 1 November 2026. When we checked the festival's information page on the afternoon of 1 November 2026, it still listed the sale times and hadn't said how the sale went or whether any tickets were left. This page always covers the next sale, and we update it the day the festival announces anything.

The next sales

SaleWhenStatus
2027 resale, ticket and coach packagesSpring 2027, after the balance window closes on 7 AprilDate to be announced
2027 resale, general admissionSpring 2027, a few days after the coach resaleDate to be announced
2028 coach and general salesNot announced. Recent main sales were in October or November of the year beforeDate to be announced

The local and Sunday sales were only for people who live in the qualifying areas, and the festival may ask for proof of address. Who could book local full weekend tickets is in Glastonbury local resident tickets. Sunday tickets cost £145 each, including the bus: see Glastonbury Sunday tickets. How the resale works, and how it differs from the main sale, is in the 2027 resale.

There was no 2026 festival, so no sale for it. The 2027 sale came earlier in the autumn than the November sales before it. Registration has closed a week or so before each sale, so watch for that date as much as the sale itself. Sell-out times are in how fast Glastonbury tickets sell out.

What to expect at the next sale

Each sale has had its own official FAQ, and the festival has changed the process before, so read the new one when it's published. Based on the most recent sales:

Resale (as in 2025)Main sale (as in 2027)
Tickets per bookingUp to 4 general admission, or 2 ticket and coach packagesUp to 6
PaymentThe full price, at bookingA deposit (£100 a ticket in 2027), then the balance in April
RegistrationEveryone in the bookingEveryone in the booking, and each queuer entered their own registration before joining the queue
QueueRandom places for everyone waiting when it opensOne place per registration, so more people queueing means more chances

The details that cost groups their chance are the same every time: a registration that wasn't accepted, a postcode that doesn't match, numbers buried in a chat, and a card that can't cover the payment. All of them can be sorted weeks before any date is announced, which is why the list below starts now rather than when the sale does.

What to do now

  1. Check every registration in your group, and update old photos while registration is open. See how to register.
  2. Agree your syndicate: who's going, who'll queue, and who books whom. See the syndicate guide.
  3. Collect everyone's details in one place. See the spreadsheet template.
  4. Subscribe to the dates calendar, below, so new sale dates reach you as soon as we add them.

Subscribe to every Glastonbury 2027 date instead, and your calendar app checks for changes: new dates, like the resale, appear in your calendar on their own, and nobody needs your email address. On Google Calendar, choose Other calendars, then From URL, and paste https://glastobolt.co.uk/calendar/glastonbury-2027.ics.
